Update: A total fire ban is now in effect following the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) implementation of a Restricted Fire Zone (RFZ) across the entire legislated fire region of Ontario due to impacts related to the COVID-19 outbreak. With a fire ban in place, all open air burning, fireworks, and campfires are not permitted. All fire permits are immediately suspended and no new permits will be issued until the fire ban has been lifted.

MUSKOKA LAKES – The Township of Muskoka Lakes is extending closures to outdoor recreational amenities effective immediately following the new emergency order made by the Province of Ontario on March 30, 2020, to close recreational and outdoor amenities.
