Lock Street Temporary Road Closure

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON – Residents and visitors are advised that Lock Street in Port Carling will be closed to all vehicular traffic from Friday, July 1, 2022 – Tuesday, September 6, 2022 for the pedestrian area pilot project.

Media Release - Pedestrian Area Pilot Project on Lock Street in Port Carling

MUSKOKA LAKES, ON – The Township is excited to announce a pilot project for Lock Street in Port Carling that will see the street converted to a pedestrian only space this summer. This initiative is one of the key public realm projects identified in the new Community Improvement Plan (CIP).
